If your son travels to School by bus, please check collection times for these mornings. Five of the days when the School is closed will be training/professional development days for teachers and holidays for pupils.

It is both the Governors and the Head Master's expectation that as holiday dates are published well in advance, parents should plan holidays etc accordingly. An increase has been noted recently in the practice of removing boys from School near the beginning and end of terms in order that the family can make an early start to their holidays. A similar problem occurs when pupils return late from holidays. Leave of absence will only be granted in exceptional circumstances. Parents are asked to note that where a pupil is absent from School without the School's permission but with the parents' blessing such an absence is recorded as unauthorised, albeit parentally condoned.
